This edition presents Vril, or Vital Magnetism: The Secret Doctrine of Ancient Atlantis, Egypt, Chaldea, and Greece, issued in 1911 as Volume Six of The Arcane Teaching.
Authorship note: the historical 1911 title page does not name William Walker Atkinson—or any other author. Modern bibliographies commonly attribute the anonymous Arcane Teaching series to Atkinson, and the work is therefore preserved in the William Walker Atkinson archive as an attributed title rather than silently converting that attribution into an original byline.
Edition lineage: the Arcane material has an earlier 1909 copyright and publication history; this Holographic Pagan Press edition is keyed to the documented 1911 A. C. McClurg volume titled Vril, or Vital Magnetism.
The book develops the period occult concept of Vril as a universal vital force and connects it with breath, vitality, food, water, the nervous system, concentration, mental influence, and psychic phenomena. Its claims about vital energy, physiology, healing, and psychic influence belong to early twentieth-century occult and metaphysical literature and are presented here for historical study rather than as established modern science or medical guidance.
This text has been carefully prepared by Odd Enough Books / Holographic Pagan Press as part of an ongoing effort to recover and circulate overlooked works from the history of metaphysical and esoteric thought.
This is a handmade 8.5" × 11" archival physical book, assembled with black binding tape and featuring new artwork and layout by C.K. Lee.
