The Odd Enough Society is a monthly membership from Odd Enough Books and Holographic Pagan Press, bringing together recovered texts, bibliographical research, archival context, and handmade editions.
Built around access to the archive—not around discounts.
The heart of the Society is recovered material, original-source research, bibliographical context, publication voting, private archival work, and handmade editions. Member discounts are secondary benefits; the purpose is to bring readers further inside the work of deciding what is preserved, studied, and published next.

How We Master Our Fate

The inaugural Society issue begins with Gestefeld’s study of fate, will, law, habit, suggestion, imagination, and self-mastery. The month is organized around the theme Fate, Will & Mental Causation, with the featured text, curator’s letter, reading path, archival context, and deeper research material gathered into one continuing record.
For Collector members, the same work becomes Collector Edition No. 1: a closed, handmade and hand-numbered Holographic Pagan Press edition. The September physical-edition cutoff is Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, with the final limitation determined by the eligible copies actually produced, never more than 33.
Reader — $9/month
One featured Society PDF, the curator’s letter and reading notes, a private monthly dispatch, a From the Stacks archival feature, and 48-hour early access to designated releases and rare-book drops.
Researcher — $19/month
Everything in Reader, plus an expanded research dossier or companion text, a working bibliography and annotated reading path, publication and digitization voting, and 10% off eligible Holographic Pagan Press editions.
Patron — $39/month
Everything in Researcher, plus 15% off eligible Holographic Pagan Press editions, a quarterly private salon, lecture, or recording, priority tie-break voting when an overall Society ballot is tied, and an annual members-only digital facsimile or research booklet after twelve consecutive paid months. Every eligible member still receives one counted ballot.
Collector — $69/month
Each month becomes its own closed physical edition.
Everything in Patron, plus one featured handmade Holographic Pagan Press Collector edition each month. The final limitation is the number of copies of that featured treatment actually produced after the announced monthly cutoff and any eligible swaps are resolved, never more than 33. Once locked, that exact iteration is not expanded later. Every featured Collector copy is hand-numbered, and monthly editions may feature alternate artwork, colorways, special papers or materials, bindings, inks, or inserts. A choice of two eligible alternate editions is available before the monthly deadline, along with the matching PDF, a printed curator’s note or archival insert, and standard U.S. shipping. Collector enrollment is limited to 33 active members. Collector members also receive first access to newly catalogued rare and antiquarian books before public release.
Founding Collector · The First 33: the first 33 individuals to join the Collector level will be permanently recorded as Founding Collectors. Founding status remains part of the member’s Society record if membership later lapses, while active Collector benefits and physical editions continue to require active membership.
