The Language of the Hand is a richly illustrated late-Victorian guide to palmistry by Henry Frith and Edward Heron-Allen. Written as a concise introduction to the principles and practice of reading the hand, it examines the forms of the hand and fingers, the mounts of the palm, and the principal lines traditionally associated with character, temperament, aptitude, fortune, and destiny.
