The Influence of the Stars: A Book of Old World Lore is Rosa Baughan’s richly detailed nineteenth-century study of astrology and traditional systems of character and destiny.
First published in 1891, the work surveys the signs of the zodiac, planetary influences, the twelve houses, fixed stars, nativities, horary questions, solar horoscopes, and aphorisms drawn from older astrological authorities. Baughan’s larger study also places astrology alongside palmistry and physiognomy, preserving a broad cross-section of the symbolic and divinatory lore circulating in the late Victorian occult revival.
This Holographic Pagan Press edition has been newly restored and prepared for modern readers. The period cover design has been reconstructed in red on pale cream card stock and presented in a handmade black cloth tape-bound 8.5 × 11-inch format.
Each physical copy is printed, assembled, and finished by hand.
This is a newly prepared Holographic Pagan Press edition and not an original antique copy.
