Refund Policy — Odd Enough Books

At Odd Enough Books, every item in our collection has been chosen with care and expertise. We want you to feel confident in every purchase, whether you're acquiring a rare antiquarian volume or a digital research guide.
Digital Products (PDFs & Downloadable Files)
All sales of digital products are final. Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," we do not offer refunds or exchanges once a file has been downloaded or accessed. Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you experience a technical issue with your download, contact us at oddenoughbooks@gmail.com and we'll make it right.
Physical Books — Standard Titles
We accept returns on standard physical books within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be in the same condition as received — unread, unmarked, and in original packaging where applicable. To initiate a return, email oddenoughbooks@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or was sent in error.
Rare, Vintage & Antiquarian Books
Vintage and antiquarian books are sold as described and photographed. Condition notes (e.g., foxing, previous owner inscriptions, binding wear) are disclosed in each listing and are considered part of the item's character and history — not defects. We accept returns on rare and vintage books within 7 days of delivery if the item significantly differs from its description. Please email oddenoughbooks@gmail.com with photos and your order number to begin the process.
Collectible & High-Value Editions (Over $500)
For collectible editions priced over $500 — such as rare signed copies, limited print runs, or museum-quality items — we encourage you to reach out before purchasing with any questions about condition, provenance, or authenticity. Returns on high-value items are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items must be returned in the exact condition received, with all original materials included.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at oddenoughbooks@gmail.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Exchanges
We do not offer title-for-title exchanges, as our inventory is largely one-of-a-kind. However, if you'd like help finding a comparable title, we're happy to assist — just reach out.
How to Initiate a Return
- Email oddenoughbooks@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
- Wait for our confirmation and return instructions (typically within 2 business days).
- Ship the item back using a trackable method. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.
- Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
